  Detailed introduction
  I. Overview of Saponification Vessel
  Lubricating grease production equipment mainly includes saponification reaction kettle, blending kettle, quench mixer, shear, homogenizer, degassing tank, vacuum pump, filter, heat conducting oil furnace, conveyor pump, pipeline valve, etc. Therefore, saponification kettle and blending kettle are indispensable equipment in grease production. Saponification kettle is used to complete the saponification reaction in the preparation of grease. It can also be used in many technological processes in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries, such as the saponification reaction of soap. Here we focus on the structural characteristics of saponification kettle, one of the grease production equipment.
  II. Structural characteristics of saponification kettle
  Because of the high viscosity of grease, saponification kettle uses planetary special stirring or planetary spiral belt stirring, gear transmission, edge scraper, jacket cycle heat conducting oil heating, or electric heating. It is very convenient for assembling, testing, using and repairing. Stirring can be autobiographical, rotatable, and with scraper mixing, to prevent material hanging on the wall, the reaction is thorough, and the mixing frame is equipped with wear-resistant, elastic scraper to effectively remove the materials adhering to the vessel wall and bottom, thus improving the heat transfer efficiency. Saponification reaction is generally high pressure reaction, so there is pressure in the tank and jacket. The pressure in the tank is generally 0.1-0.65 Mpa, and the pressure in the jacket is 0.2-0.7 Mpa. Because of the high heating temperature, heat conducting oil is generally used in the jacket for heating, which is efficient, high temperature, energy saving, environmental protection and safety. Because there is pressure in the tank, the mechanical seal is professional mechanical seal used in the kettle. It has good pressure resistance, good sealing and no leakage. Pressure saponification kettle is designed and manufactured according to pressure vessel. Standard head structure is used up and down, and non-standard atmospheric pressure saponification kettle is also used. Generally, upper flat head and lower standard elliptical head are used. For saponification kettle material can be selected according to need, carbon steel or stainless steel can be used. Design essentials: both tank wall and bottom are equipped with polytetrafluoroethylene edge scrapers to reduce the residual in the tank. Special tail gas outlet, three-layer tank, external insulation using stainless steel 304, insulation medium: rock wool, conductive heat oil heating. Stainless steel is clean, but relatively high price, carbon steel is economical and practical, but the appearance is not as good as stainless steel. Other configurations are the same as common reactor, nozzle on-demand configuration, metering device and control device are also on-demand configuration.
