I. Overview of Stirred Reactor
Stirring reactor is a reactor with stirring function. Stirring reactor according to the different forms of stirring, there are ordinary stirring reactor, magnetic stirring reactor. According to the different stirring speed, there are low-speed reactor, medium-speed reactor and high-speed reactor. The main characteristics of stirring reactor are different stirring forms, such as blade stirring, propelling stirring, style stirring, anchor stirring, scraping stirring and so on. Two-blade agitation is the most basic slurry type, which is dominated by horizontal circulation at low speed, radial flow at high speed and up-down circulation with baffles. It is suitable for mixing, homogenizing, blending, dissolving, heat transfer or crystallization of low viscosity liquids, or working in laminar flow under high viscosity, using multi-layer, large diameter and low speed agitation. Inclined blade stirring can be made into 24?, 45?, or 60?, inclined angle, with axial and radial shunts. The spiral blade is suitable for mixing, homogenizing, heat transfer and reaction of medium and high viscosity. General multi-layer combination use. It has the characteristics of twin screw belt slurry. Curved-edged oblique blade propeller is a type of oblique blade slurry. The bottom of the slurry is close to the elliptical surface of the vessel. The vertical surface of the blade plane and the rotating axis is also called the inclination 45?. It acts as a scraper and runs at low speed. It can be operated in the over-flow or laminar flow zone. With stabilizer structure, it is mainly used near the critical point of axle design, where the axle needs radial centralization. Screw agitator is a slow agitator, which operates in laminar flow zone. It is suitable for mixing and heat transfer of medium and high viscous liquids. The screw agitator has small diameter, large axial thrust, a guide cylinder on the screw, and strengthened axial flow, forming a downward-upward circulation inside and outside the guide cylinder. Frame stirring is suitable for mixing, heat transfer and reaction of medium and high viscous liquids. Often operated in laminar state, horizontal circulation, such as folded or angle steel blades, can increase the eddy current near the blade. The stirring range can be increased by adding vertical blades and crossbeams on the blades as required.
