　　I. Overview of alcoholic tank:
　　Alcohol precipitation is a common process in the extraction of traditional Chinese medicine. Ethanol is added to the water extract of traditional Chinese medicine after concentration to precipitate alcohol at room temperature or low temperature. Ethanol is used as solvent to dissolve the active ingredients in the concentrated solution and as precipitator to precipitate some impurities. Alcohol settling tank uses ethanol as solvent to separate and precipitate two or more components. Temperature control system accompanies alcohol precipitation process.
　　2. Structure and characteristics of alcohol sink tank:
　　Alcohol sink tank mainly consists of tank body, upper and lower heads, mixing transmission device, interlayer and matching heat exchange system, adjustable supernatant outlet and lower slag discharge port. The cylinder part of alcohol precipitation tank is generally designed as upper elliptical head and lower conical head. The conical angle is 60 ~90. After alcohol precipitation, impurities deposit at the bottom of the cone, and the clear liquid is sucked out from the upper part.
　　The transmission system of alcohol precipitation tank generally consists of explosion-proof motor, reducer, seal, rack part, mixing device, etc. When container load is large, low-speed stirring can be selected. On the contrary, the stirring speed is larger. The function of the transmission system is to make the solvent mix evenly in the alcohol precipitation material, to facilitate the selective separation between solvent and solute, and to achieve the optimal separation effect.
　　Different mixing devices are prepared according to different tank sizes and components of Chinese medicine water extract. The mixing specifications can be designed and manufactured according to actual conditions.
