Detailed introduction
Summary of Purified Water Storage Tanks
Purified water is prepared by distillation, ion exchange, reverse osmosis or other suitable methods without any additives. Ordinary water contains many kinds of ions, such as sodium ions, chloride ions, etc. Some water in chemical or physical fields need extremely pure water which can not contain any ions. Ordinary water can not meet the needs of pharmacy, food, chemical industry and so on. Therefore, water is made by some equipment. When the ions are removed, this is the purified water. The physical and chemical indexes of purified water and water for injection in American Pharmacopoeia are the same, but the requirement of purified water for injection on pyrogen and microorganism is higher than that of purified water. The difference between purified water and water for injection lies in the water-making process. The preparation process of purified water has various choices, but the Pharmacopoeia of various countries have limited conditions for the preparation process of water for injection. For example, the United States Pharmacopoeia clearly stipulates that the preparation process of water for injection can only be distillation and reverse osmosis, while the Chinese Pharmacopoeia stipulates that the production process of water for injection must be distillation. The storage period of purified water should not be longer than 24 hours. Therefore, the purified water tank should be made of stainless steel or other materials which have been proved to be non-toxic, corrosion-resistant and non-leaking contaminated ions. A hydrophobic bactericidal filter is installed to protect the ventilator from falling off fibers. The inner wall of the purified water tank should be smooth, and there should be no dead angle and trachoma in the nozzle and weld. The purified water tank uses sensors that display liquid level, temperature and pressure parameters without water retention pollution. The storage tanks should be cleaned, disinfected and sterilized regularly, and the effect of cleaning and sterilization should be verified.
CHARACTERISTICS OF PURIFIED WATER STORAGE TANKS
1. The tank body adopts sanitary and aseptic design, and each pipe mouth adopts drawing treatment to form a smooth transition, avoiding the cleaning dead angle caused by direct socket welding and ensuring the reliability and stability of the production process. Mirror polishing treatment for inner tank surface (roughness Ra < 0.4? M); mirror panel or grinding plate for outer surface, which is hygienic and beautiful.
2. The process interfaces all adopt ISO standard quick-loading chuck-type interfaces, which are sanitary, no dead angle, easy to disassemble and equipped with anti-corrosion gaskets. Guarantee service life.
3. It has on-line cleaning (CIP) and on-line sterilization (SIP) functions and meets GMP standards.
4. The inner surface is treated as mirror, and the outer surface is subglossy or the upper and lower head is subglossy. It is easy to clean without leaving dead angle.
5. Temperature display control system and liquid level display system can be selected according to need. For those with remote output control functions required for automation, local display and manual control are used for routine operation observation.
8. Drawing flanging process is adopted for arc transition of pipe orifice, which is smooth and easy to clean without dead angle, ensuring the reliability, stability of production process and meeting the requirements of GMP.
9. Configuration of purified water storage tanks:
1. Quick open manhole.
2. Various types of CIP cleaners.
3. Hygienic air permeable cover for fly control.
4. Adjustable triangular leg.
5. Removable feed tube kit.
6. Thermometer (according to customer requirements).
7. Climbing the ladder (according to customer requirements).
